2014-09-17 Wednesday

We rode our bikes to Chefs Hat for breakfast. Peg had a Greek Isle scramble and I had an asparagus scramble. We then stopped in at the jewelry shop be there wasn't any new inventory. We rode back to our hotel and parked the bikes.
North again to Sister Bay where I bought a cf card for my camera at Radio Shack. We stopped at Frykman Galleries and I really liked the prints on aluminum and the emulsified prints. Next stop was Door County Creamery for gelato and cheese curds. Peg looked in a few shops nearby. We drove up to the Ellison Bluff county park and watched a freighter go by.
Backtracking to Porcupine? Road we found a rocky shoreline to hang out at for a while. We took the shore road back to Sister Bay driving past some pretty impressive waterfront properties. After lunch at Top Shelf we drove on through Ephraim and went to Fish Creek.
We spent some time at the Top of the Hill Shops, then went to Orchard Country and bought some goodies to take home with us. On our way back to our hotel we stopped at a hardware store where Peg looked unsuccessfully for a
Packers jersey.
We went back to the beach and relaxed for a bit, then had a sandwich in our room. After bundling up as the weather had gone from T-shirt to sweatshirt in an hour or so, we went to Sunset Park and watched the sun go down.
We headed back to our room, stopping at the frozen custard place to share a Door County sundae.
