Had coffee, juice, danish and mini muffins from hotel breakfast. Then on the road to Kenosha. Ate brunch at Franks Diner – David had the garbage plate and Peg had Cap’n Crunch frenchtoast. We arrived about 9:30 and waited inside in line for 15 min until seated. It was a fun experience but you need to take plenty of time. The line was long when we left at 11:00. After walking along the harbor/marina and around to the Kenosha Public Museum we headed back to the car and drove around town until noon when the Museum opened. After that we went to the Civil War Museum. Then we headed to the beach – it was lovely, warm, 76 deg, and a cool breeze off the water.
On the way to Green Bay we stopped at Say Cheese for mid afternoon grilled Wisconsin cheese sandwiches. Checked into Super8 and went to Timothy Green movie then ate Carribean Chicken Pasta and Raspberry Chicken Salad at Mackinaws.
