We left home about 8:50. Stopped at Casey’s in Monmouth for gas and Breakfast on the go. Drove to the Dekalb Oasis and stretched our legs. The next stop was in Schaumburg where Peg went to Kohls while I picked up some Krupnik at Binny’s and stopped at Performance Cycles. We used a gift card from Denita at Bahama Breeze. Peg had coconut shrimp, yellow rice, brocoli, and a “Bahamarita”. I had a Cuban with yellow rice and black beans, and an “Aruba Red”. Back on the road to the Comfort Inn in Waukeegan. We were a little disappointed in the motel, but only needed a place to sleep. It was still early so we drove up to Gurnee Mills and walked around the mall. Our last stop before the motel was Cracker Barrel for dessert.
